Matt brings over 17 years of technology experience to the MacKenzie team. Specializing in geographic information systems (GIS), Matt is adept at balancing the needs of people with the capabilities of technology. His robust technical background, coupled with eight years of training experience, enable Matt to effectively communicate the value of GIS technology to a broad audience.

During his career, Matt has helped an array of government, non-profit, and private sector entities successfully advance GIS within their organization. A true contributor to GIS efforts in the region, Matt has been actively involved with statewide and regional coordination efforts and has twice received an award for "Outstanding Contribution to GIS in Maryland".

Matt earned his M.S. in Information and Telecommunication Systems from Johns Hopkins University in 2003 and graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Geography and Economics from Towson University in 1996.
