Sue A. Fortman
Chief Financial Officer
Sue Fortman has 25 years of experience in commercial real estate. She graduated Magnum cum Laude from York College of Pennsylvania, with a major in Accounting. She has managed all Accounting and IT services at MacKenzie since 1990 and was promoted to CFO in 2008.
During her tenure, MacKenzie has grown from a property management company into a vertically-integrated, full-service commercial real estate company providing services in property management, facility management, brokerage sales & leasing, general contracting, mortgage financing, commercial & residential development to clients in Maryland and the surrounding states. She currently oversees a staff of eleven who maintain accounting records for nearly 100 entities generating over 85 million in revenues.
Today, in addition to managing its own portfolio, the company offers its services to third-party clients throughout the region. Her team works with each client individually to determine specific reporting requirements, and where necessary, design custom tailored financial reports to fit a client’s individual needs. Additionally, she has ensured that MacKenzie continues to utilize software that provides cutting edge technology to improve information flow to owners and tenants, enabling MacKenzie personnel to provide top-notch services to all of its clients. |
