CASE STUDY General Fiber Communications, Inc.
The Challenge The regional headquarters of General Fiber Communications (GFC), a leader in the communications infrastructure industry, was looking to improve the image and efficiency of their office and warehouse space while containing costs and allowing for growth. MacKenzie selected to advise GFC on developing and executing a long-term occupancy strategy. After assessing the needs and budget issues of GFC, several sites were identified as possible opportunities for the 20,000 square foot user. The Solution MacKenzie negotiated a long-term sublease opportunity for GFC at Tidepoint in Baltimore City. Negotiations included the build-out, furniture and warehouse facilities that GFC needed to meet their image and budget objectives.
